"Negative equity took our family home when I was 15" - Maddison Fox
Suffering negative equity and home repossession in 2008, channel follower and fan Maddison Fox, her parents and 3 siblings all experiences how brutal falling house prices can be.
Her (and her younger brother's) turnaround story since then is remarkable.
In January Maddison sent me a private message on X:
"It’s thoroughly emotional for me because I’m 31 and my parents lost our family home when I was 15-16 due to the 2008 housing crash. They were highly leveraged and in negative equity. Ever since then both my parents rent and have never financially recovered. So for myself to have been able to get the house of my dreams back in 2023 was a pinnacle moment of my life."
